Apparently no one has told Donatella
Versace there's a recession. The fashion designer is premiering
her latest fragrance, Gianni Versace Couture, a limited-edition
fragrance that costs $2,100 per 3.4-ounce bottle. The perfume
comes in a handsome white leather box that doubles as a carrying case,
which clearly justifies the excessive price tag!
The fragrance description, just as
fancy as the price tag itself, reads like a romance novel leaving me
unsure as to whether I should wear it or drink it.
Something tells me a sample will be out of the question."Citrus juices of bergamot and mandarin with energetic notes of red berries and tangerine are fragrant overture of the perfume, which hides secrets of floral bouquet composed of Sambac jasmine, heliotrope and almond blossom in the heart. Base notes incorporate Tonka beans essences combined with woody notes, patchouli and sandalwood."
