Star magazine is reporting that Ben Affleck doesn't want to give his expectant son with Jennifer Garner a ridiculous Hollywood baby name that's become so popular. Considering his two-year-old daughter is named the very traditional Violet, is the activist actor following in politicians' footsteps by developing a habit of waffling? The magazine's source said:
"Ben put his foot down and said no way to trendy Hollywood names. If it's a boy, he likes the name Benjamin, not just because it's his name but it's that of his hero, ...(see question below)."
Hmm, "not just because it's his name"? Ben Affleck, Jr. would certainly be torture on any child unless, say, his father were a senator or President and set him up for future political glory ala JFK, Jr. & RFK, Jr. - Let's hope Affleck's a method actor and just preparing for a role as our country's leader.
